Without Self-Control*

The basic concept and the text might be the only things that could work, but the execution seems like mere self-indulgent display, and this did not capture the audience's attention at all. As a young person, it was the first time I saw the audience almost unanimously bored, with some walking out during the performance and the rest snoring contentedly. They too escaped into a kind of alternative reality, and unfortunately, these moments became the most engaging parts of the performance.
